INDIAN SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS, Festival news
    American Indian Film Festival (November 3-11, 2006): 5 nominations: Best Feature, Best Director (Gil Cardinal), Best Actress (Alex Rice), Best Actor (George Leach), Best Supporting Actor (Darrell Dennis), 2006 American Indian Film Festival (San Francisco, USA). The award-winning production will be shown on Sunday, November 5 at the Lumiere Theatre in the 12:00 Noon program. The Lumiere Theatre address is 1572 California Street (@ Polk), San Francisco. The American Indian Motion Picture Awards Show takes place Nov. 11, at 7:30 PM, Palace of Fine Arts, 3301 Lyon Street, in San Francisco. Festival website: www.aifisf.com

    INDIAN SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS Airing soon on CBC TV (August 16, 2006) CBC Television has not yet confirmed the premiere broadcast date of our two-part mini-series INDIAN SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS. However, according to the broadcast schedule on www.cbc.ca, the show will air on September 15 (part 1) and 22 (part 2) at 8:00 PM.
 
   

INDIAN SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS - World Festival Premiere at Montreal’s First Peoples’ Festival
(May 25-June 8 and June 21-25, 2006)
Part 1 of the mini-series will be shown on May 27 at 4:00 pm in Kanehsatake at the Aronhiatekha school.  Part 2 will be shown later the same day at 7:30 pm at the same location.

  INDIAN SUMMER: THE OKA CRISIS Opens the Dreamspeakers Film Festival in Edmonton, Alberta on June 7, 2006  The mini-series will be shown in its entirety at the Opening Night Gala on June 7 at 6:00 pm.  Director Gil Cardinal will be in attendance.     Montreal, September 19th.  Claudio Luca from Cine Tele Action (The Boys of St-Vincent, The Last Chapter, René Lévesque) is presently on production of Indian Summer : The Oka Crisis a Four Hour, Television Drama, Mini-series with the collaboration of CBC.

    Due to popular demand and to the growing online fan petition, we are happy to announce the DVD release of Radio Enfer, Season 1 (26 half hours).     IL DUCE CANADESE – CBC television premiere (October 1, 2005)  CBC will air the television premiere of award winning  IL DUCE CANADESE (TV Drama) on October 16 (Part 1) and 17 (Part 2).
     
RENÉ LÉVESQUE airing on CBC TV on Thursdays:  September 7, 14 and 21 at 8:00 PM (Eastern).
    The 6-hour mini-series will air in 3 parts. Check your local listings. The mini-series was a Finalist for Best Writing at the New York Film Festivals 2005. Starring award-winning actors, the mini-series was shot in English and in French. The French version will air on CBC TV’s French counterpart (Radio-Canada) on Thursdays as well but on September 7, 14 and 21.
